This site is a tribute to the talented artist Audrey Bussell, who was born in Aberdare, Wales on April 07, 1934.

Aud died peacefully on the 22nd January at Gloucester Royal Hospital aged 86 years, finally succumbing to the ravages of blood cancer and chronic kidney disease.

A much loved wife to David, mother to Mark and Julien, mother-in-law to Fran and Amanda, and grandmother to Hannah, Polly, Tom, Alec and Harry as well as a loyal friend to many. 

Aud was an extraordinary woman, fabulous in every sense and a lady of many talents. We'll rejoice in Audrey’s magnificent artistic legacy, her sense for fun and life and will treasure the countless joy-filled memories that she brought to our lives. Her spirit will live on in generations to come as we all try to emulate the kind, generous and fun-loving force of nature that she was. 

Instead of flowers, we'd like donations to Anthony Nolan which is a charity tackling blood cancer. This is not only fitting to Aud's final year of life, but Hannah, her eldest grandchild, works for the organisation and can oversee the allocation of funds.
